Jackie Sloane specializes in enhancing clients' ability to engage others, cultivate relationships and achieve important goals. She works with individuals, groups and organizations.

She has over 25 years of experience in coaching, journalism, and consulting. Her background includes extensive training and certification as a coach and eight years on the editorial staff of a national magazine. She has written for numerous publications and has helped clients secure visibility in the national media. She is currently working on the book project, The Art of Being Heard: Create More of What You Want By Speaking to the Concerns of Others.

Jackie's programs, such as Communicating for Influence and Respect and Contagious Leadership, support clients in recognizing how what they communicate supports or gets in the way of what they want to achieve. She has presented programs for Ace Hardware, CNA, The American Business Women's Association, The Midwest Society of Professional Consultants, The Organization Development Network, The International Coach Federation, The Newfield Network, Accounting Group International, Chicago Association for Direct Marketers, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and many client organizations. Her article on leadership and the power of relationships in producing change appears in the January 2004 issue of Leadership in Action, published by The Center for Creative Leadership.

As a consultant, she has helped clients to reposition their organizations to dramatically increase perception of value and success, create greater ease in the business development process and produce other desired results. She has helped product companies, professional service providers, retailers, and others to gain national and international recognition, reach new markets, dramatically increase sales, develop opportunities that led to significant contracts, influence governmental groups and place significant stories in the trade and consumer news media, such as The New York Times, Fortune, CNN.

Jackie has had her own firm for over 15 years and has been coaching professionally since 1994. She is a certified ontological coach, having completed a graduate-level program on mastering the art of professional coaching. She was awarded Master Certified Coach designation from the International Coaching Federation and has been certified to use and interpret the Center for Creative Leadership's Benchmarks(r) 360º assessment tool. She has studied the embodiment of change with Stuart Heller, facilitation with Interaction Associates and has completed graduate work in film/video at Columbia College, Chicago, and numerous writing, communication and leadership programs. She is a member of the Organization Development Network Chicago, The American Businesswomen's Association and the International Coach Federation. Jackie has a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
